SBDC’13 Elimination Round
Cebu City - December 30, 2012 at the break of dawn at the Cebu City Sports Arena (Abellana Sports Complex), the grounds still wet from the rain, a battle of Cebu’s dance crews ensued. A little over 20 registered dance crews assembled by the oval tracks as early as 5 AM and true enough at 6 AM it was show time.
Some of the crews that screened that morning. - The CAMPE, OMG Extreme Dancers, Kritical Konceptz, New Cycle ( finalist), Endless Crew, For Our God Dancers, Type One (finalist), Locus Crew (finalist), Bronix
Out of the 22 dance crews that battled it out, only 8 were named finalists for the upcoming grand finale on January 18, 2013 still at the Cebu City Sports Arena at 6 PM.
Here are the top 8 crews who made the cut:

BIG SHIFT DANKA [Dance & Kinetic Arts] STUDIOS launches its search for 12 Junior Dance Masters! You just might be it!
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN OUR SCHOLARS?
Must be able to adapt to difference dance styles/genre
Must be physically fit
Must be a team player
Must have pleasing personality
Must be conversant, good communicator
Must have good moral character
At least college level, 18yo to 28yo, male or female
Not a member of any professional or established/structured dance group or company
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BECOMING OUR SCHOLARS?
Free dance classes under a special program or curriculum over a period of six [6] months
Chance to participate in Big Shift company and client events with a special talent fee
Use of Big Shift facilities for rehearsals and artistic/creative enhancements
Chance to be hired as in-house choreographers after the program run
HOW TO BECOME PART OF OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM?
Submit resume with accompanying photos – whole body and close-up shots; email to dance@bigshiftstudios.com
Prepare two [2] audition pieces – one [1] hip-hop & one [1] jazz, two [2] minutes each
