BIOGRAPHY
Randolf Winston, is an active dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. His classes and choreography focuses on musicality and performance, while capturing the emotion, rhythm, and lyrics of the music. Students should expect a fun and challenging class that enhances their performance with precision by fusing hip-hop, street jazz, and modern choreography. His classes will be an outlet to enhance your natural abilities.
As a Choreographer he has toured and performed at the Rumba Australian Tour, Deadly Vibe Awards, Music OZ Awards, Aria Awards and at major International and Australiam tours such as Sean Paul, Ja Rule & Ashanti, Usher, Destiny’s Child, Nivea, Koffee Brown, Kylie Minogue, Pink and Missy Eliiot.
Over the past 5 years, he has choreographed an abundance of videos, many which have gone on to award winning pieces of art. His recognizable style is evident in videos such as Wachu Want, Bang This, Fantasy; J.Wess (Mushroom Festival), Soul Train #9; Tina Arena (Sony), Kiss Kiss Holly Valance, Just A Friend; OV7 (J Records), The Way You Make Me Feel; Shakaya (Sony).
His Television credits include Tina Arena Aria Awards performance (2002) Holly Valance Opening for the Aria Awards (2003) Selwyn and Shakaya Medley performance at The Aria Awards (2003) Artistic Director for Grinspoon @ the Aria Awards (2003) Choreography for Pepsi Live U.K (2004) choreography for J.Wess MTV Awards, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards (2004) J.Wess Australia Day performance @ Parliament House Canberra (2004) and various Television performances across Jakarta and Singapore for RnB Artist Cristian Alexander (2005), Much Music “The Mix” in Toronto (2006) The Asia Music Awards as a duet performance (2007) and has been nominated for Best Urban Video on MTV Music Awards for Artistic direction for J.Wess “Bang This” along side Music video Director Vashti Rosenberg.
In 2002 he was one of the pioneers in introducing the style to Melbourne Australia by opening Australia’s first Dance studio dedicated solely to street dance called Unitd Styles along with his former business partners Arch Alias of Wicked Force Crew and Vincent Miller of Red Stitch Theatre Company.
He is constantly traveling and spreading the “positive” word of Hip hop at major workshop conventions across Nth America, Europe Asia and Australia and is constantly scoping new and talented dancers for his up and coming projects with Artists.
