sayawatha’s official rank from skechers is 4th. sayang. but mas magaling naman talaga ateneo.

True. I hope this doesn’t get them down though. They really did a good job this year. Although their synchronization wasn’t as favorable as it was last year, I have to say that I enjoyed their routine a lot more.

sayawatha 4th? sabi st. paul daw 4th place!
alternate said this on December 28, 2009 at 3:57 pm |
Ok… this is getting way too confusing. In a Youtube video, they were saying that Aglaia was the fourth placer. I think that Skechers should release the overall rankings so that the teams would know where they stand and get an idea of how much work needs to be done in order for them to really do well next year. Of course, hard work must always be applied. But for example: Sayawatha is in fourth place and let’s say, I don’t know, Aglaia or St. Paul is in 5th. Armed with that knowledge would give them a better idea of what the team slightly ahead of them did differently or excelled at, based on their performance, and try to learn from it. That’s just a suggestion.
Plus, posting the rankings would put our curious minds at ease.

claret fucking sucks dude. i don’t understand why they won. WTF. Miriam’s better than them or xavier. skwater ng dating nila eh.

LOL, GOTTAPROBLEM. You can’t even spell “squatter” properly and you have the nerve to say such an atrocious thing? The mere fact that you put in such insignificant details as a basis for insult is what can be called CHEAP and, if I may put it in your terms… “SQUATTER and dating.” If you belong to any school AT ALL, I’m afraid that you may give it a bad name. It’s as if you were uneducated at all.
I for one am a big fan of Miriam and Xavier but I would never go so far as to bash a school that worked so hard and took risks that paid of. And so what if Miriam’s students may LOOK financially blessed compared to the students of Claret? That means close to nothing compared to the work one is willing to put in their craft. And it is obvious that Claret put in a lot of work to their routine even adding more styles than usual. Even dancers from Ateneo, La Salle, Miriam, Xavier, UP and FEU were all cheering for Claret after Ateneo and LSGH were called.
In other words, from what I’m getting, you may be one of those people who believe in a birthright based social order that determines who is the best–that is why you said such a thing. And that being my inference, I can clearly state that you are indeed primitive. Nakakaawa ka naman.

To Gottaproblem:
You’re kidding, right? “Squatter ang dating?!” Pare, I’ve met people who live in the squatters area. Some of them actually behave better than you. They may not be well off but some of them actually know how to act with class which is more than I can say about you.
I’m sorry to break it to you, child. Just because you study in Ateneo or Miriam, it doesn’t necessarily follow that you always deserve the top spot. A good school or team is nothing if the effort does not match the potential.
Miriam did really well during Skechers 5 but Claret brought it harder in terms of execution. They danced harder and truth be told, there is nothing that you can say or do that can change that.
Nahihiya tuloy ako para sa mga members ng Miriam’s Sayawatha. For them to be supported by someone like you… YUCK.

gottaproblem, you are the only alien in this planet who, until now doesnt understand why claret won. BOBO MO KASI!

Whoa! Squatter? That is just SHALLOW and completely uncalled for, Gottaproblem. I was a Knoller (a former student of Miriam High School, if I may seem condescending.) That being said, I can’t help but feel gravely offended by what you said regarding Claret.
To be fair, Claret’s performance was not clean. Sitting at the front row during the performance, I noticed that a lot of them had a few botched stunts. The flips weren’t nailed properly. However, the energy or their performance remained consistent. You can really feel their passion. And aside from that, the execution of the dance moves were better compared to other teams.
I think that the problem with Sayawatha this year is that their synchronization was a bit off especially during the first and the last part. Plus, they didn’t have intricate but solid choreography that allowed them to dance cleanly unlike last year.
As for Xavier, as much as I love them, their performance this year was extremely messy. There were too many mistakes and they were not just easily forgivable ones. They were big and all too noticeable.
As for the heart of your comment: whether or not you do live in the squatters area, whether or not you are financially challenged and NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK, that should not be the basis for your talent.
And FYI, not that it matters that much but Claret is an exclusive all boys school with sound academic structure. I have friends that go there.
How about you? What school did you come from?

gottaproblem. seriously i got offended by what you said. skwater ang dating namin? tlga? how? well sorry kung hindi kami englishspeaking or conyo dudes like ateneans lasallista and xavierans. sorry kung favorite hang out places namin mga cheap lng. pero man or woman, sabihin ko sayo! kaya namin sumabay! oo barubal minsan kumilos pag magkakasama kami, pero pag may ibang tao na, lalo pag girls, alam namin kung pano kumilos ng maayos, maging gentleman at magkaron ng class. claretiano, mga happy go lucky. obviously hindi mo alam yun!
yeah. claret school of qc is an exclusive school for boys! mahal din tuition namin no!

Mind him not, Claretian. He obviously wasn’t thinking straight when he said that. You guys did well during Skechers 5. And something tells me that you’ll keep doing well after–not just in Skechers but in other fields and competitions as well. Some people just can’t get over the fact that there is no so-called “old order.” They hate experiencing change in their known atmosphere so they retaliate. Pay them no heed.
Kelsey said this on December 30, 2009 at 9:11 am |
seriously i got like, offended by like, what you said. hindi naman lahat ng atenista and lasallista are like, conios, doi. like your making me damdam ha. i so not like it, like for real. hehehe. dude, wag mo na lang pansinin, i so like your pants nung finals, the legs!!! yum. hahaha

oo nga. ang alam ko 4th nga ang st. paul.
claretian said this on January 2, 2010 at 7:50 pm |
i think st. paul nga 4th. im guessing na ung order ng pag upload sa http://www.skechers.com.ph ng vids is same din ng rankings. 4th vid ng st. paul followed by st. marks, so i assume na un nga rankings. what do you think guys? or mababaw na ibase dun? haha
daijo said this on January 2, 2010 at 9:21 pm |
To be honest, that’s not a bad assumption, daijo.
A lot of talk has been going around regarding this. In this site we have people claiming that Miriam got the fourth place. In Youtube, as mentioned by several viewers, Aglaia took that spot. And basing it from the uploads, it’s either St.Paul got the least score (which is highly unlikely considering the performance of Dance X) or the fourth place. However, if the uploads are based on rankings, then that would mean TIP and Letran were ahead of FEU Manila. Then why is it that an anonymous user stated that the two FEU schools got 4th and 6th? Hmmm…
I agree with what Kelsey said. If it’s not too much trouble, I think that Skechers would do well to post the rankings so that the other teams would know where they stand. Besides, aside from scathing the credibility of a few anonymous and nigh-anonymous users, I don’t see any harm that could come from it.
Anyway, save the botches and the technical problems, it was a good night. A lot of teams really stepped up. I think it’s safe to say that Skechers 5 was better than the 4th edition.
blackheart said this on January 5, 2010 at 1:58 pm |
PS: I mentioned Dance X simply to add some flesh to my reasoning. I did not do so to bash them. Like a lot of people who have been following Skechers, I am quite fond of that team. However, I think that they’re performance during Skechers 5 was way below their standards and did not hold its own when matched against other teams that night (primarily because of the botches.)
Oh well. Best of luck to them next year.
blackheart said this on January 5, 2010 at 2:03 pm
i agree. pero i dont think st. paul got the lowest score, magaling sila. about the college division, 6th naupload FEU manila. so possible na totoo yung sinabi nung random person about the rankings of FEU, the problem is base sa uploads, hindi sa FEU ung 4th place.
haha ang gulo. bsta im quite sure na alam ng bawat teams kung ano rankings nila. alam ko skechers inform the finalists kung ano place nila.
daijo said this on January 7, 2010 at 12:32 am
Ang labo nga e. I know what you guys mean. It is a bit confusing. But here’s a shocker, if the uploads are based on rankings, then that would mean Xavier placed 6th because they were recently uploaded. That means, they ranked higher than Aglaia and Sayawatha.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a solid DX fan but putting them on a rank higher than those two teams based on their performance is, well, kinda shocking. =(

shocks! sayang csr! last year’s 3rd place skechers battle hs division! omg watch their vid in crissa teen synergy! kung sumali sila skechers top 3 sila for sure;
daijo said this on January 6, 2010 at 9:57 pm |
bsta im only sure about this rankings for the hs division
1st Claret Hataw
2nd LSGH Airforce
3rd Ateneo Indak
4th
5th
6th
7th School of the Holy Spirit Aglaia
8th
9th
10th
yes, 7th ang SHS aglaia this year. i got this from the members of aglaia. lets wait for all the vids to be uploaded, pag 7th naupload ang vid ng aglaia, then base nga sa rankings ung pag upload nila.
daijo said this on January 7, 2010 at 12:21 am |
i_spit_at your_ignorance lets wait for the 7th vid to be uploaded, if its aglaia’s video, then base nga yun sa rankings since im pretty sure that aglaia’s ranking is 7th.
and yeah. its really malabo.
for me st. paul deserves the 4th spot since they really improved from last year. st. mark’s being the 5th, hhm so so. then xavier 6th place. hhm why not. maybe the judges appreciated their performance more.
